For the week of May 14 and 15, 2019, Game of the Day was a favorite for the Mirror Lake Ladies’ Golf League — “Toss out the worst hole.”

Game of the Day winner in the Tuesday night group, Flight A was Julie Williams and the winner in Flight B was Renee Murphy. The Low Gross winners were Julie Williams, Flight A with a 40, and Renee Murphy, Flight B with 57. Maureen Blackmore won Low Net in Flight A, and Renee Murphy and Elaine Morgan tied for Low Net winners in Flight B. There were three Low Putts winners each with 16, Julie Williams and Maureen Blackmore in Flight A and Renee Murphy in Flight B.

For the Wednesday morning golfers, Karen English won Game of the Day in Flight A and Ruth Ann Wilson was the winner in Flight B. Karen and Ruth Ann also won for Low Gross in their respective flights. The Low Net winners were Karen English in Flight A with 35 and Etta Mae Schneurle in Flight B with 36. Karen and Linda Bogden tied for Least Putts each with 15.

The Mirror Lake golf ladies meet every Tuesday evening and/or every Wednesday morning from the beginning of May through the middle of October. The course is in wonderful condition and at its most beautiful in spring. Any interested lady golfer is welcome to join in!
