Photo by TANNA YEOUMANS Ty, Brady and Seth Bateman went double or nothing (well, actually double or home run) during the Badgers’ recent win over Kellogg. As coach Tom Turpin noted, Brady Bateman, Seth Bateman and Ty Bateman went a combined 6-for-9 at the plate, accounting for 5 doubles and a 2-run home run from Brady Bateman. The trio totaled 6 RBI as Bonners Ferry topped the Kellogg Wildcats 11–1 in a five-inning game. Shayne Walker also had a great day, going 3-for-4 with 4 RBI in an offensive display for the Badgers.

Senior pitcher Chris Sabin gave up two first inning singles and then proceeded to shut down the Wildcat offense striking out eight batters. The Badgers scored three runs in the first and second innings and erupted for four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to preserve the game shortened 10 run rule game.

The win puts the Badger baseball team at 8 – 4 and 4 – 1 in IML play.
