Bonners Ferry High School Shooters:
Dukes Clay Busters, we only had two shooters Sat. April 15, good weather. Wade and Seth Rice had good practice rounds. They helped out loading cases of targets for the Duke Guthrie Memorial Shoot.
Bonners Ferry Gun Club annual Duke ‘s memorial Shoot was fantastic. The rain god slept all the way through Sunday. Had only a few sprinkles of rain. We had nine squads in the 50 bird handicap. Twenty-one shooters from Hauser Lake Gun Club showed up to make for some tough competition. There were 40 plus shooters in the Annie Oakley’s. Lots of 5 across and a buddy shoot. Competition shooting lasted from 9 to 4:30 p.m.
The Bonners Ferry Gun Club would like to thank the donations to the club and the Duke Clay Busters Team in memory if Duke Guthrie from Elaine Guthrie, Duke’s mother, and sister and brother in law
Darryl and Patty Kerby. I would like to thank all of the gun club members who helped put this shoot on. They worked their behinds off.
