The Badgerettes ended the year with a bang! On Jan. 20, we attended the Limelight competition in Lakeland. Receiving first place in kick, first place in prop, and third place in hip hop.

Competing equally against Sandpoint, Lakeland, Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene and Orofino made this win super exciting for the girls. They did awesome! Districts, Feb. 24, in Lakeland, four of their routines qualified for State. One routine learned at camp, three choreographed by the team and coach. On to State March 17! All of their hard work and dedication earned them seventh place out of 11 qualifying 3A teams in Nampa! The grueling three days a week, sometimes four, of 5:45-7:15 a.m. practices paid off! Congratulations ladies! I am such a proud coach! You represented Bonners Ferry High School amazingly!

— Coach Lisa Dirks
