Bonners Ferry high school and middle school band students volunteered over 200 hours to construct and staff the Second Chance Animal Shelter’s Haunted House. On Oct. 27, 28, and 31, the haunted house opened and screams could be heard for blocks as the band students and other volunteers did their best to entertain and terrify. All money raised went to house, feed, and care for homeless pets in Boundary County.
Tonight, Nov. 9, from 5-9 p.m., Tip a Badger Night will be held at The Springs Restaurant in The Kootenai River Inn.
