ELECTION: Nice candidates, but not qualified
Jim Woodward and Wally Cossairt are two very nice people. However, they are completely unqualified for the positions they are running for. If you had attended the forum at Bonners Ferry High School you would have seen this for yourself. Both are intelligent in their own right, but they do not know a thing about the political issues facing our county and state. Being born in Boundary County is not qualification enough to run our government.
Woodward and Cossairt will be “Yes Men” for the establishment. This is not representing you, the citizens of Boundary County. We need representatives that are knowledgeable about the issues and have the back bone to push back against Federal Government overreach. Terry Spence has been educated on the issues for years. And he has attended the county commissioner meetings for many months so he can see firsthand what the commissioner’s deal with.
You ask Scott Herndon, who is running for Senate, a variety of topics affecting our state and he has intelligent, knowledgeable answers on these subjects. Scott Herndon has been primarily self funded with just a few donations from individuals. Woodward is funded by PACs. Who do you want to represent you? State Senate and County Commissioner are two very important positions that will affect our lives. Please do your research before voting.
