ELECTION: Re-elect Poston as county clerk

I am supporting the re-election of our Boundary County Clerk, Glenda Poston.

I can tell you that she is one of the most devoted and knowledgeable officials that l have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her hard work and office skills led her to the job as office manager for our local lumber company. That was a huge responsibility and she held that position for 29 years before the decline of the timber industry. She was then appointed as Boundary County Auditor by the Commissioners to fill the vacancy of that office in 2004.

Glenda is well known for supporting her community by serving in the past and the present in many organizations. You will always see her at our county fair helping with the organizing and giving support where needed. She has served on the Community Hospital board, Fairboard, City P&Z, Rotary, and Beta Sigma Phi just to mention a few.

Glenda has been active and also been honored at the state level. Two of the biggest awards being elected by her peers as President of lAC Recorders and Clerks in 2015-16 and the prestigious award of being selected Clerk of the Year for 2015.

I was honored to serve beside her for eight years as County Treasurer and found her to always be honest, gracious, helpful beyond words and supportive to all other officials, employees and the citizens of Boundary County. She is a dedicated public servant and I am very proud to put my name on the list of her many supporters and friends.

Retired Boundary County Treasurer,

Jenny Fessler
