ELECTION: Clerk must enforce election laws
The County Clerk holds the position of “Secretary of State” at the County level of government and thus oversees the elections process. The election process is paramount to a republican form of Government, and that process needs to be vigilantly guarded to insure a free people’s form of government.
In both the 2008 and 2016 elections the BCCH ran illegal election campaigns, using the county facilities and hospital employees to promote the levy, while failing to file any lawful reports within the time required. In 2016 the CEO of BCCH filed late fraudulent reports, stating they received over 6000 dollars in donations, when the campaign was financed directly from the hospital budget. The hospital has committed a myriad of unlawful election violations. Glenda Poston, the County Clerk has refused to file civil or criminal charges against the hospital for any of its un-American actions. The Clerk has a public duty to do so, but she also was a past BCCH board member; this fact further exposes her actions for what they are.
It is past time to hold her responsible for the unlawful elections taken place during her time in office and vote her out of office. Perhaps if she spent her time doing her job instead of being the “4th Commissioner” we would have a proper election process in our county.
