Colson

Mrs. Julie Colson has been the librarian within Boundary County School District for the past 6 years and is currently educating and supporting students at Valley View Elementary School. She is a great team player who goes above and beyond her job responsibilities and truly has a heart for our students, the school, and the community as a whole.

The staff at Valley View Elementary School appreciate her creativity, calm and caring nature, and the joy she constantly displays with both students and staff. The VVES team also appreciates how great she is with all ages of students at the school and how she connects with students to help them pick the best book for them.

When students were asked what they loved most about Mrs. Colson, they stated that, “Mrs. Colson makes reading fun by picking good books for us to enjoy.“

Another student stated, “Mrs. Colson is super nice and makes me laugh in library.”

Mrs. Colson has a husband, a 21 year daughter, and a 17-year-old son who all call Bonners Ferry home. In her free time she finds pleasure reading, snowmobiling, hiking, and watching movies.

BCSD 101 is very lucky to have Mrs. Colson within our district educating and supporting our students.
