Your Boundary County Historical Society and Museum, 7229 Main, Bonners Ferry, Idaho sponsors this column. During the summer, we will be open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. To help maintain the buildings, a small entrance fee is requested. It is $2 per person or $5 per family. There is no charge for those under 14 years old or for the Boundary County Historical Society members. Sundance Fire 50th Anniversary is coming soon. Many people have been involved in this event. August 23 at Priest Lake Elementary and then on August 26 at the Boundary County Museum will be a presentation on the Trapper Peak and Sundance Fires. September 2 at the Upper Pack River Bridge will be a memorial to the fallen firefighters. Add this to your calendars. Something you won’t want to miss.
