The Firemen in this picture were receiving a new piece of equipment. Do you know who the men are?

What year it may have been? Did you ever have to use this equipment?

If you have an answer, please email doyouremember@meadowcrk.com. If you would like to stay anonymous, just let us know.

The ladies in last week’s picture must remain anonymous as no one came forward with their names.

The museum thinks this was a float for the fair royalty, as the cloak worn by the one young lady looks like the one the fair just donated to the museum.

From the picture, several weeks ago, Virginia Howard also recognized Meekers Machine Shop. She said the steam engine was used to run equipment.

Your Boundary County Historical Society and Museum, 7229 Main, Bonners Ferry, Idaho sponsors this column.

During the winter, the Museum is open Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

To help maintain the buildings, a small entrance fee is requested. It is $2 per person or $5 per family.

There is no charge for those under 14 years old or for the Boundary County Historical Society members.

Visit the website at www.boundarycountymuseum.org for a list of the latest events.

Another Spin-In will be taking place at the museum on March 11th. If you are interested in spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting or tatting, come on down between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to learn or just observe.

Hope to see you there!
